As the days lengthen and the temperature warms, I find myself daydreaming of summer vacations and world travels. My ideas are always bigger than my budget, so I like to engage in a healthy dose of armchair traveling. Below are some of my favorite travel-related books. I know there are so many good titles I'm missing, so please chime in in the comments with your recommendations, too!

I just love Frances Mayes "Under the Tuscan Sun: At Home in Italy". It's completely different than the movie, but both stand on their own, in my opinion. It could also be considered "armchair cooking".

''My ideas are always bigger than my budget, so i like to engage in a healthy dose of armchair traveling''(i have the same problems:)) I just read ''Imagined London by Anna Quindlen'', and what i think about that book is amazing!!! I really loved the plot of the book.. The irresistible charm of a city inhabited every corner, from fiction and literature. An unusual journey, cultured and vibrant. A purely literary path crossed with the precision of a valuable guide to the city. I recommend a book to read at all. By Pricescout24
