Interested to know what all the fuss is about e-readers without dropping your hard-earned cash on a device you may or may not like? Look no further than the Free Library of Philadelphia: You can check out a Barnes and Noble Nook e-reader from us--for free! Anyone with a Free Library card and a photo I.D. is welcome to check out a Nook that comes pre-loaded with a variety of books to enjoy, from New York Times bestsellers to beloved classics and more. Nooks are available for check-out at the following Free Library locations: Parkway Central Library, Philbrick Hall \| 1901 Vine Street Bustleton Library \| 10199 Bustleton Avenue Falls of Schuylkill Library \| 3501 Midvale Avenue Philadelphia City Institute \| 1905 Locust Street Wynnefield Library \| 5325 Overbrook Avenue E-reader lending at the Free Library of Philadelphia is made possible by federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries and with support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
