Two of a Kind presents, “I Dig Reading!”
Musical duo Two of a Kind get everyone involved in this interactive concert. With songs about the joys of reading, books, and burrowing animals, the whole family will be singing and moving along!
Oba William King
An engaging, interactive presentation of story and rhyme designed for the entire family. Oba William King uses rhythmic African drumming with just the right blend of audience participation to create a sing-a-long, dance-a-long good-time event.
Dragons and Dreams
Amidst castles, kings, and dragons, join in on the adventure as the Piccirillo Sciencetellers take children on journey exploring the science of fire and ice. Using flash paper, “cool” dry ice and much more, this unique performance allows kids to witness first-hand the elusive nature of “dragon’s breath.”
Poetry in Motion
Using a trunk of costumes, masks and puppets, David Zucker brings poetry to life in this fun and interactive show for children of all ages! This special program is part of the MARGARET S. HALLORAN FAMILY LITERACY PROGRAMMING SERIES at the Parkway Central Library.
ILLStyle & Peace
With incredible energy and personalities to match, the local hip-hop dance company ILLstyle & Peace demonstrate that perseverance and focus can help you reach your goals! Think it – do it – become it! This special program is part of the MARGARET S. HALLORAN FAMILY LITERACY PROGRAMMING SERIES at the Parkway Central Library.
Admission is FREE - all performances begin at 2:00 p.m.
