Here are the Top 10 ebooks downloaded from the Free Library's OverDrive Digital Library in February 2014.

With the Polar Vortex (hey, there's a GREAT name for a suspense thriller!) blanketing Philly in frigid temps and snow storms for the entire month of February, it's no wonder there were more than 53,450 ebooks checked out and downloaded. What better way to stay warm and entertained than reading a good ebook in the comfort of your home!

It was a pretty even 50/50 split among our readers' top selections this month, with Romance and  Mystery & Suspense titles galore and not one nonfiction book to be found.

The following list comprises titles from across all genres, downloaded from both our website and mobile site.

1. Dream Wedding by Susan Mallery Dream Wedding (fiction, romance)
by Susan Mallery

Dream Wedding is actually two stories in one, Dream Bride and Dream Groom, involving two sisters who find love through the magic of a nightgown passed down through their family. The legend is that if the nightgown is worn on the night of your 25th birthday, you will dream of and find your one true love. Susan Mallery combines modern romance with tried and true fairy tale ideals for a quick, lighthearted read.

2. Informed Risk by Robyn Carr Informed Risk (fiction, romance)

Robyn Carr's story of a firefighter who falls in love with a single mother after rescuing her from a burning building will set your heart ablaze. A complex story with emotionally charged characters, Informed Risk is a real tearjerker, so have those tissues ready!

3. Don't Ever Get Old by Daniel Friedman Don't Ever Get Old (fiction, mystery)
by Daniel Friedman

87-year-old Baruch "Buck" Schatz may not be the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of "action hero", but once you read Daniel Friedman's debut novel, Don't Ever Get Old, you'll be rooting for this cranky anti-hero. A gritty crime drama with just enough black humor, snappy dialogue, and characters with actual character that would make Elmore Leonard proud!

4. Indigo Slam by Robert Crais Indigo Slam (fiction, mystery)
by Robert Crais

Hired by three kids to find their missing father, P.I. Elvis Cole becomes immersed in a lethal world of mobsters, Feds, conspiracy, and crime. by Megan Heart

The Favor is a shattering small-town story about what can turn brother against brother, and the kinds of secrets that cannot remain untold.
