The Free Library of Philadelphia is dedicated to providing both online and in-person visitors with open access to its vast resources. With the many dimensions a blog provides, we can further illuminate our many programs, speakers, and offerings through enhanced linkage, photographic, and MODERATED commentary capabilities. A blog enables us to start important dialogues and keep them going to make sure that you’re getting as much out of your Free Library experience as possible. After all, it’s what we’re here for.

The Free Library Blog is part of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Posts are written by a variety of Library staff members, from people in the Communications Department to your local librarian.

Under each post, to the right, is the link "Send Us Your Feedback." Click on this link, and you will be directed to a small online form that has a space for your ideas and opinions as well as for your name and email address. If your comment is selected to appear on the blog, please don’t worry--YOUR EMAIL WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. Your comments may be posted in whole or in part.

While we read all of your comments, not all of them can and will be published. Please be patient and trust our instincts on this. While blogs are a handy tool, they can sometimes become the kind catchall for information, rants, and ramblings that are not pertinent to the Free Library.
