Hands on History: Traversing Prydain
Children's Literature Research Collection at Parkway Central Library
Are you a fan of Lloyd Alexander’s Chronicles of Prydain (or maybe just a fan of Disney’s controversial Black Cauldron movie)? If so, this is the program for you! Discover the evolution of Lloyd Alexander’s Newbery-winning series, the Chronicles of Prydain while viewing and interacting with objects housed in the Free Library’s archives. This program is presented in conjunction with the Free Library’s exhibition, Mapping Imagination: The Art of World-Building.
Please note that this program will be held on the fourth floor of the Parkway Central Library in rooms 406/407.
Mapping Imagination: The Art of World-Building and its related programming are made possible by generous support from the Lindback Foundation, the Dolfinger-McMahon Foundation, and the Independence Foundation.
