Was Shakespeare the first feminist? A look through theatrical history at how women are represented in Shakespeare. The lecture will discuss gender issues found in Shakespeare’s plays such as the influence and stereotypes of women, and how Shakespeare knew to write these by understanding the psychology of the women in his plays.
