Child.net - PHILADELPHIA CITYKIDS is being developed by National Children's Coalition to be a complete resource and activity guide for children and youth in the Greater Philadelphia area, including nearby Pennysylvania and New Jersey suburbs. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PROGRAMS - HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PROGRAMS Summer Workshops for Minority High School Students funded by Dow Jones Newspaper Fund, Inc. Selected students are taught to write, report, design and layout a newspaper in ten-day free summer workshops. Local application contacts and deadlines are included. Best writers in each workshop are nominated for a $1000. scholarship.

Petoftheday - Great site for pet lovers, (with no ads!). Includes a "pet of the month" feature with photos and stories.
Poetry Corner - The Poetry Corner. Not a 'zine, but an online moderated (by a student) poetry bulletin board
Student Center - A "web community for students, specifically college students, high school students, and teenagers." Includes links to student chat,advice, resources, poetry, music, news and sports.
Teen Hoopla - Teen Hoopla is designed to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of young adults ages 12-18. Original material created by and for Teen Hoopla is developed to provide adolescents with an opportunity to express themselves about books, reading, and other issues affecting their lives. Features, including links to external sites, are added and removed regularly as recommended by the Teen Web Site Advisory Committee.
Youth work Links and Ideas - This site's author has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work, and 20 years experience working with adolescents. The site is comprehensive and contains frequently updated links pages for youth and youth workers.
