Opening with the Entombment of Christ, the Resurrection, the Three Mary's at the Tomb, and the Harrowing of Hell

The miniatures in this opening are part of a cycle of twenty-four full-page miniatures depicting forty-eight scenes from the life of Christ. The cycle forms a pictorial preface to the text of the Psalms.

This manuscript has been dated to ca. 1225-1240.
